It's better written than the last book. But, on the whole...humbug. Not sure if it's a convoluted conspiracy tale wrapped up in an excuse to spout off about religion, or a bunch of religious hooey wrapped up in an excuse to write a convoluted conspiracy tale.
Gonna sit on that one a few days, do think I want to write some about this. Hopefully have something sort of different to offer.

oy. I know exactly how you felt.
On top of the heretical elements to the book, the plot was disappointing. I mean, the holy grail is Sophie or the bloodline of Christ?! Does anyone else find that kinda stupid? I wanted it to be something other than a human being or a bloodline that was lost or whatever. I suppose that's the Indiana Jones influence in me coming out.
"Does anyone else find that kinda stupid?"
No. I find it EXTREMELY stupid.
Unfortunately, Jenkins & LaHaye make it seem like Dan Brown has talent in comparison :-(
