Well, after justice (delayed) was seen on AI last night, and Lakisha survived being the first "what the--?" ejection, I've decided to go out on a limb and call it.

k... umm... I don't get it ... why will Melinda not get it? To me she's clearly the best. Is it because you think she's not as attractive? Older? BTW... for the record... I love Blake Jorden and Melinda ...
I dunno, really, mostly a gut call. Yeah, she's got a great voice, but...I don't think she's playing to win, really.
Song choice, song choice, song choice. On the whole, not what connects really to voters.
Her personality is a touch on the bland side, and I'm as tired as Simon with her constant expression of surprise when he says something nice.
Not seeing growth, change, etc. in her. Even in Carrie, who was predicted to win from the get go, she struggled, she changed, she tried. Don't see Melinda doing that.
Appearance plays a little into this, but not much. I think this week her revealing to the world that she actually has a neck probably takes care of that.
Wow. That was more than I thought I had to say about Melinda. Mostly I think it's just the way Blake and Jordin are competing. They're doing what they have to do to make it to the finals, IMHO. More than anyone else.

I think you're wrong. For once, I think the best voice has a great chance of winning. It will come down to Jordin, Blake and Melinda, no doubt about it. Unless Lakisha chokes, of course.
But I still think America is voting for Melinda. And if that woman can sing country, and she can, there's not much she can't do.
Either way she gets a record contract, and I'm buying that album.

Actually, I think she's choking. She had the early lead on talent, and hasn't competed. Tortise=Jordin, Hare=Lakisha.
And yeah, my guess is Melinda's CD release (around Christmas is my guess) will be worth the $$.
