You did the field trip?? I would have gone if I would have known. I usually don't know anyone on the field trips.

My mother would say, "You'll never know anyone on them unless you go and introduce yourself." But I'm not my mother, so I won't say it.

Pretty much, yeah. They're not what it's all about--but they're a pretty big chunk. And when you have a day like that...makes it easier to deal with the rest.
